Does anyone have any feedback on Hifonics Brutus series amplifiers? Are they what they claim to be? Or even close to it?

I recently purchased an amp from USA Amp and it was a piece of shit. It was a 4000XT and I had it hooked up to a RE XXX 18" sub. After playing it for a week, my sub decided to come-from-together. Go figure right? Anyways, what I was wondering is if anyone has any feedback on Planet Audio amps...

Can anyone tell me if it is even possible to bring a single 2-ohm DVC down to a 1-ohm load using one mono amp? I'm thinking that I have not done enough homework before making all of my purchases. And I could be in a bind now.

I'd Like To Keep My Cost Down Or Around $600 Dollars. Originally I Purchased An Orion 5000d From Sonic Electronics; But After Getting The Run-around For A Couple Of Weeks With Them I Kind Of Gave Up. What's Your Opinion On That Amp?
