well i have an mtx amp mine was 300some it works great except that you have to have go speakers strong enought

guy's anyone can you help me i have two 12 pionner impp 450 watts conneted to a mtv amp the one the has 4ohns and all i'm not to sure anyways the speakers sound like crap could i us connected them wrong i had some similar speakers before and they sounded awesome 400 watts but i have no idea...
