Just got my new FI Q 12 w/BP and have a question about building a ported box as all subs in my car have been in sealed boxes. Am I best served with choosing a free plan from the sticky post, or better yet... What things should I be thinking about that would sway me to NOT use one of those...

I was thinking .6 per, or 1.2 - 1.5 for a pair of 10s. For a pair of 12s that would be 3.0+... I think I am leaning toward the 10s since the box size is smaller and I assume they still pack a good punch. Much appreciated JimJ...

Do you think I could really get away with a .6 cu ft box for the 10s?

I am finding several references to Fi Q subs in ported boxes, but how would a pair of 12s do in a small sealed box on about 1500w? Anyone not using a ported box on your FI subs? subs here Debating on a pair of either 10s or 12s...
