Almost every burning program will let you drop MP3's into it's "AudioCD" mode. This converts your mp3s to WAV files and gives you a maximum CD length of 80 minutes.
This isn't revolutionary by any means Also it's an extra step. Anything like NERO will let you convert on the fly as it burns.
I can only speak for sub amps... and more recent models... bit I've got a 501bd ROckford from 2002 I think... it's definitely a second rate amp. I also run a JL in my car, and it's far better.

I run the EF-61s with the 560 satnet xovers and DRT-25 tweets on a JL 300/4 bridged... It's really really good. Very powerful sound, controlled upper end. I'd recommend this setting anyday. 75w - and they sound weak
