I have just finished the install of the 1.1000 and 4.150 in my XB. First the 1.1000 blows away by SoundStream VGA800.2 running my Ascendant Ava 12. The base is much more defined and more musical without losing any of the low end. I have read a couple of reviews where the 4.150 did not have much...

here is the door panel near ready for paint... and here is the zero guage coming in to the distro and the cap going to the Alpine 453 below.

Two weeks into the install and the door panels are looking very cool! They just need a little touch up and sanding before the paint and texture coating. 0 guage wire ran to the distro block with four gauge out to the amps. They had to fabricate a new rear deck to house the the SoundStream Amps...

I can not tell you that the AVA is better than the SS sub but what I can tell you is that the AVA is a very very good sub.. It gets real low and can still play high enough to even the music out, something that the Brahma and XXX subs have problems doing. But I have never heard a SS sub and have...

Corolla is a good choice for someone without kids looking for an inexpensive gas friendly car, but I would challenge any car in the same price range as the XB to be as kid friendly (car seat) and gas conscience.
