Does anyone have experience with the new Maxxsonics MB Quart PWH 304 subwoofers? Seems like everyone's stayed away from their subs since Rockford and MB Quart divorced.

MaxxT, How are the new MB Quart PWH 304 subwoofers and amps? I haven't got to listen to the post Rockford Fosgate MB Quart stuff. And yes, Old School Autotek rocked, had one I bought off a buddy of mine, but sold it in 92 because i already had an earthquake amp and sub setup.

How did the install go? Yeah, I have that CarAudioMag issue with the Hertz and Morels too Hope it turned out good.

Did you set the gain properly?

True. It all depends on the setup too. It just happened that the L7's my buddy was running were setup in a way that favored lower bass frequencies and the w3 tub was in smaller cu. ft setup. Don't get me wrong...my friend's L7's pound! Just speaking from listening to two different setups.

I've had 2 12w4's before, and my buddy has two 12" L7's right now, but I heard 3 10w3's in a triangular tub with a phoenix gold amp in another friends eclipse...and it was the most intense bass i've felt at the time. of course my buddies L7's are bigger, so the bass extension sounded lower, but...

JL: how's it sound, have you installed it yet? Have yet to seen one in person, take pics if u can. Matrxx: do u like the 9901u better? i was looking at that one too, but kind of expensive, so i was looking at 2006 c8413u which looks like the 8803, just a bit less features.

those are two pretty good amps. does your rlp not sound good with the raa1000? b/c i powered two of my friends L7's and it slammed and didn't go near shutting down. listen to the pg if u want to, i know they're great amps and i used to rock the old school pg's. but if they sound the same...
