    Proximity sensors any good?

Where is the most logical place the sensor should be mounted? (Just picked one up)

Has anyone delt with engine conversions?

    Check for fuel spark?

    3.8 supercharged

Change the oil religiously! A little buildup in the oil passages that keep the supercharger oiled can cause it to fail earlier. Repairs are up in the 1000-2000 dollar range if the supercharger bearing craps out on you. Trust me I've worked on these Buick superchargers before! Camshaft position...

Is there anything I can use to condition the foam surrounds on my speaker against daily sunny weather and heat?

    rs3 valet switch

Thanks for the info. Worked flawlessly! I also ran individual relays for the remote start function, accessories, etc. off the other wires in 5 ribbon harness. Everthing is all good now.

Stainless steel wire and fish hooks. Thief catcher.

That's a very sad and unfortunate situation. That's why I stay on top of my insurance policy making sure I'm covered from head to tow. It's not really that much more at all, but well worth it in situations like this.

    Muffler/end pipe replacement

Those pipes are usually left at 3 inches. A single in dual out kit sounds nice! Check out summitracing or jegs for cat back kit as there not that expensive and very straitfoward to install. As far as brands go.. I personally am a little biased towards flowmaster as I've been putting flowmasters...

    My car won't start help!

Check for power at the smaller signal wire at the starter when you attempt to crank. If there is none work your way back to the ignition switch. On those older Mk2's the starters can only handle the heat of the exhaust manifold above it for so long. Suprised yours even lasted this long. Ignition...

    Best way to remove OIL

800 bucks for an oil leak.. depends what was repaired. If I have to remove a transfer case, axle and transmission to change a $3.00 rear main seal, you better believe the labor rate is going to be high. Oil leaks CAN become expensive repairs.

Stainless steel wire and fish hooks. Thief catcher.

A friend of mine also did something similar after his head unit had been stolen twice from his Wagoneer. 6 razor blades JB welded around the head unit. There was blood all over the dash... and the head unit was still there swinging by it's harness! This was 4 1/2 years ago and he's never had a...

    rs3 valet switch

Ok, what I thought was a relay satelite is actually just a harness that came in. I'm now convinced that somehow the relay satelite is missing from my kit. ARRGGHH!! I am not interested in remote starting at all (Don't you just love year round sunny weather?). I take it the relay satellite is...

    SQ of HU with screens

I've gone through quite a few head units until I installed a Clarion in dash. I was kind of skepitical at first regarding the SQ issue but I've remained quite impressed thus far I guess it really depends on the rest of your system.

    rs3 valet switch

Well found one from a site that deals Directed products and should be in tommorow. Left everything installed for now... I just hope it doesn't go off when I'm driving until the parts arrive:) Is this missing relay satellite also the reason why EVERYTIME I disarm... a response has been showed as...
