Thanks for the info. Worked flawlessly! I also ran individual relays for the remote start function, accessories, etc. off the other wires in 5 ribbon harness. Everthing is all good now.

That's a very sad and unfortunate situation. That's why I stay on top of my insurance policy making sure I'm covered from head to tow. It's not really that much more at all, but well worth it in situations like this.

Check for power at the smaller signal wire at the starter when you attempt to crank. If there is none work your way back to the ignition switch. 800 bucks for an oil leak.. depends what was repaired. If I have to remove a transfer case, axle and transmission to change a $3.00 rear main seal, you better believe the labor rate is going to be high. Oil leaks CAN become expensive repairs.
