here's the goods; alpine CDA- 9831 HU. sony XM-D500 (2 O stable) amp, 6 explode subs. Everytime I change the track or the source mode i get a nasty thud through the subs. Only those two operations nothing else. I'm told it's a grounding issue but what about it. I have 4awg ground bugged...

just wired up a system. noise floor is low, no altenator hums. BUT, when i change tracks or input sources on the HU i get a nasty thud from the subs. only those two buttons not from any other operation. Any help would be great, thanx in advance
