How much for one of the eclipse subs?

I have an all eclipse setup except for my amp and it sounds great. you are going to get outstanding sound from that setup. it may be a little pricey but it is worth it.

I have a 12" aluminum and i know it can do 500+ easily. I have mine running off of a hifonics gen xi hercules. It was running off of a mmats d300hc. it took everything the amp threw at it.

**** I am with you all on this one. If you can can get alums for $115 share the hookup. I could always use a couple more to add to my setup.

I must agree with you that the sub remote comes in handy and the other features as well. also you can't frown at the price of the amp (less than $400).

Hell yeah denim. Don't know what I would use it on right now, but still would love to have it.

is your amp 1ohm stable or are you going to wire the subs to 4ohms?

I recently sold my D300HC since I needed an amp that was 1 ohm stable. Great amp though.

My system is all Eclipse except for the sub amp. I am working on adding another aluminum to the setup and also a custom false floor vented box. all that will hopefully be in my cherokee by the beginning of the year.

no, not necessairily. see the eclipse HU's put out true power unlike most HU's. they are rated by their volt output not by the watts. The signal you get from an Eclipse is very clean. I have both sets of my Eclipse coaxials running off of my HU (which is a 5441, last year model of the 5442) and...
