hey i got a 2001 saab 95..brand new battery, factory radio with a line out put converter at 1 volt running to two kenwood amps that give 919 watts rms to each of my type r's...its not as loud as it should be...im thinking its because each amp is only getting .5 volts... because everything is...

im not sure about the ohms and compatibility with my type r's and the Kenwood Excelon KAC-X812D amplifier. Do my subs have to be a certain ohms for those two to be compatible..to make it work what rms wattage would each sub be getting

yea that didn't make sense to me that it could take a signal to speaker convert it to a rca signal and it would be more clear...Kenwood Excelon KAC-X812D thats the amp im looking at

okay...yea a friend from mobil link said the line out converter gives a more crystal signal then rca's from a head unit...but now i guess im not worried about it..just need to find an amp

oh really.. thats no good..whys that?? would the alpine v12 1000 watts rms at 2 ohms be a lot better

thats it...its not pounding my type r's like it should

all the connnections are good on it i think it just might be a bad amp...it doesn't even say the rms on it...just the big max ouput numbers...its also a 4 channnel amp bridged down to two subs

the type r's are in a obcon vented box....is used 4 guage on everything..i got a 6 farad cap too..

i have 2 12 inch type r's that don't pound like type r's at all..the problem is either i have a pyramid 2700 watt amp which i know is bad quality..or that im using a line output converter and the signal is no good..but i don't know why they dont bump like crazy...if it is the amp i am gonna get...
