    Do you have factory amplifiers, if u do you need to have those bypassed. What kind of a car do you have?

    You might have some voltage drop when yu turn the radio up high on the volume. Test with a meter that you're getting 12 volts when the car is on and step on the gas while you test for 12 volts and turn the volume up. You might have a bad constant or yo have something thats draining power.

    No it will not play dual dvd's, i've read that it will damage the lens if you put one in so DON'T use it.

    If all you want is to control bass, treble then go right ahead. You won't have an equalizer like Pioneer's and some other head units have. if you save up some more money you can get yourself a nice pioneer hu from e-bay or something for cheap. it's up to you, whatever u like,

    Nope, you have go up to the 9857 to get a remote. Freakin Alpines.

    check with a meter that ur getting 12 volts from the harness of the radio. just becuase the fuses are not blown doesn't mean that the radio is getting 12 volts. let me know when u find out, good luck.

    check e-bay, i've seen the older Pioneer Avic's (N-1,N-2) that you can find around that price range plus they're all touchscreen and have nav. good luck

    In the states I think the 8650 is the 8600 and the 8850 is the 880. If you dual left and right eq's then go with the 8850. evrything else is almost the same. but if it was up to me i would go with the 8850.
