Thx for the info. 02 Civic should be similar to 99. I don't really plan to crank it that often. Really bought the amp for dynamic headroom that anything else. I am already running 4-gauge. I guess I'll do a 4-gauge big three and use that as a starting point. From there I'll gauge how things go...

I plan on running 2 RF amps, a P1000-1BD @ 1.5 ohm and a P400-4. The P1000 is rated @ 140a and the P400 is rated @ 80a. I have a stock 70a alt (99 Civic) and a new "normal" car battery. Question 1. Is 4-gauge enough? Or do I need 1/0? Question 2. Do I need a HO Alt? If so, is 120a enough...
