I have the same HU. The disk that comes with it just tunes it to a very general specification of most vehicles. Since crutchfield can't have a disk for every make car, they just send out 1 standard disk. You can get on bongiovi site and download different disks for different setups, like...

So there would be a big difference in them with an amp? Worth the money spent? I'm kind of new to the audio world. I've also got a rockford p2 in rf vented box with 300-1 amp, which sounds great for what I wanted. The mids just can't keep up.

I have 4 T162C rockford power series speakers. Right now I have them ran off the HU. They do not sound very impressive. I was wondering if these speakers need to be ran off an amp? If so, would I need a 4 channel amp to hook all up, and what would be a good amp for this? Any comments would be...
