I am getting a build together and I need to decide between two amps. Powerbass xta 5000d or the I.A. 40.1? I see the powerbass is rated at 5000rms@1 @ 14.4v and the 40.1 is rated at 3600rms@1 @ 12 volts. I hear the 40.1 is very underrated.. Which is the best pick? They will both be similarly...

If I knew the warden was worth it I would buy it over the dp. I was hoping for some first hand experience.

They told me yesterday that it will be the first part of the year that the warden will be for sale. I can get a great deal on IA stuff which is why I wouldn't mind to have it.

I am basically just curious if there is enough of an output difference to justify spending the extra money when they become available again? I will be going to a few comps and I think I will be using 2 12s in my trunk.
