So i got a poweraccoustik 2400 watt class D monoblock amp. Power all the way, bass boost all the way. & i had an inline fuse @ 80amps, now i think my plastic melted & it broke. So i taped that bastard for the rest of the ride home. I get home & my fuse blew right b4 i got home...

Thanks for the response. I've been trying to think of different possible ways that could happen as well, but if all the bigger audio installs have terminals, how would it cause this noticable loss..

I was calling around to see where i can find speaker terminals (locally) and under radioshacks price of 4.95 ea, and i talked to a car audio shop who doesn't use terminals. I'm wiring 2 eD 13O 12" subs w/ a mono amp Wiring to a 1ohm load. Does a break in the wire actually cause power loss...
