If i were to get a different amp i could wire it the same way correct?

Question.. i have a.sealed box and there's 4 adapter things that the subs wire to on the inside of the box and then pos/neg wires run from the outside of it to the amps i have now. Would i wire it like you explained except only wire it to 2 of adapters instead of all 4?

Well that's what i wanted to do, get new amp(s). I don't want anything overly expensive just something enough to power them properly.

Hi I have four Crossfire DB12D2's i bought off my friend. They came with 2 Distinct Audio D600 2 channel amps but they are only 125 RMS at 2ohms and the subs say dual 250W RMS so im assuming thats 2ohms? Anyways would i need to get 1000watts RMS at 2ohms to power the subs to their full potential...
