Does the kicker amp come with endcaps and/or bass knob?

The bass boost is not hooked up. The bass boost I was talkin about is on the amp itself. The amp is a kicker KX 1200.1. So is it ok to just turn the gain down so that the bass isnt so loud or will that hurt something?

I finally got my subs and amp installed on friday and the shop that I got it done at set everything for me. But the bass is a little to much even with the bass at -5 on my HU. Do I just turn down the gain for less bass? Because right now the bass is so much it drowns the music out. Also...

The subs are rated 650 RMS so you think 12 gauge speaker wire will work or do I need to go higher? And thanks for the help!
