I didnt hear any whine coming from the sub... There was a slight hiss but I couldnt even hear the hiss in my 350z were the sub is in reaching distance. :P I had to put my head right near the sub to hear it. I had it for over a year with this whine, and its still works fine

I have a xenon 400.1 amp thats scratched up bad. It also makes a whiny noise since i got it over a year ago, but it works fine....... Since its scratched and makes a noise, I will sell it for $70 shipped to anywhere in 48 states... $75 to HI and Alaska Here is a pic to show the bad scratches...

Well I have another offer.... I have a PG Xenon 400.1 amp that I dont need anymore. Its pretty scratched up and the amp makes a slight whine, but it works good (just took it out). Perfect for someone to put in trunk and hide :P. If you buy the Kicker I will sell this amp for $30 extra...
