    I believe the Alpine amps are more efficient than the JL. With that said my 2008 Volkswagen R32 with 2 pioneer ICE amps did dim my interior lights when I cranked it up full volume. So you might consider upgrading the big 3 as suggested by other forum member.

    I have the hsk163 in my 2008 R32 and they sound amazing. You definitely won't be disappointed.
