Clipping (if all amps are gained correctly and leveled) will ramp your volume quickly as you turn the volume up-reason being your adding distortion to the sound. Your tweets will sound shrill and have high silibance, Your bass will become poppy and/or muddy and if your stupid to push it further...

I'm a little late on this but the hex tweeters will burn real easy with clipping-you're your own worst eniemy on this one - a volume level means jack s**t as all music is recorded at different levels. learn how to listen for clipping
