are pioneers known for having bad ground or are you just saying they are shitty in general? the noise is there whenever either rca is plugged into the left on the amp. unplug the rca from the left on the amp and the noise is gone.

so try new ground? i have it grounded to the metal on my trunk, drilled a hole and scored it with a grinder to get bare metal and bolted it down. the ground was fine before i popped those fuses, kinda makes me think it's something else. not a cheap walmart unit either, a pioneer deh-p7800mp...

i never had a problem with my current system until i hooked up another amp and sub to test them, then when i hooked up the original system again i hooked up the positive and negative wires that go into the amp backwards a few times and kept blowing fuses until i figured it out. stupid, i know...
