Yah I noticed it sounded better today, I'll keep the gain on my amp half way for a while Also I'm going to build a better box I was thinking of a bigger ported box. Mabey it will play the lower notes better

I had the amp up more but it sounds worse I have the x-over down all the way and the bass boast up a quarter of the way. It was about 70 dig F on the way home. also my box your going to laugf but it just the right size for my truck it fits between the front and rear seats in my truck. [/img]

I have the same problem too, I have a 12" L5 with a KX600.1 kicker amp that I just got today I noticed the bass does not sound right the low tones mostly. I have the gain on the amp up half way. after a 25 min. ride home I took out the sub and found it pritty hot it is wired right but I can't...

I emailed the place I bought the sub at they said they would switch the sub to a 4ohm for me so know how weould I wire the sub parrallel or in series

Thanks I might be able to switch it out I bought off of ebay I thought the amp was stable at 1 ohm. what would happen if i did wire it at 1 ohm i do not know that much about ohms

I think the kx600.1 is only stable at 2ohms can I wire my sub at 1 ohm

I've been looking on ebay but evan on ebay $400 dosent go that far mabey someone can help I only have $400 to $450 to spend I want the best bass I can get and have a fondness for kicker subs and amps please help

hello i want to buy some new bass i would like to know what would give me the best bass two kicker comp 12" in a ported box or one L5 12" in a ported or sealed box Also if some knows what wold be the best amp for these the two comps come in a box with one 4 ohm connection :stuck:
