You don't need more clearance then 2 inch from the rear. There is an equation for the radius of the port to the rear of the aero port. Let me look it up

Can I use a relay to wire lights to a speaker?

It won't have nothing to do with sound quality. And if you have a crazy amount of led it can consume actual power, but Im sure you won't use more then 10w. And yes it can blow them if you have a huge amp that the output voltage are really high.

Help setting the filters and settings on my deck and amp(s)

The hpf filter should be set to what the box is tuned to, and if you don know I can suggest a method but it's pretty hard to write it all down. You can just put a 35hz test tone and go up on the sub sonic or hfp filter until it start fading out that frequency and back it up. And each box has...

    New amp gets super HOTT

Also you amp gain is from 5v to .25 so if you have 4v preouts on your hu then it shouldn't turned more the 1/4 of the way up. I always play a test tone at max volume on the radio and back off bass boost, loud and any other bs option on head unit. I put the sub level at 0 then I watch and hear...

    New amp gets super HOTT

I'm alway stir up problems lol. I just get annoyed with people who been here forever and still don't have a clue. But seem his electrical is good enough. It's pretty hot here so that can be a contributing factor. But I don't have more info on how is wired and I can't keep up with all the post...

    New amp gets super HOTT

Lol the replies are so stupid here. Anyway which amp is it? Kinda would help to know which class amp it is. D class being more efficient and making less heat vs a class A/B amp. Beside that would be electrical and if your wired below rated or gain wasn't set properly

    will 3 15s fit in a 48inch box

You will be able to do it. They won't have any space between each sub box that doesn't matter. Port is on top or bottom along the length of the box. A proper box of 12 cu.ft with 15 sq.in of port area per cube comes to 180 sq.in so the minimum height of the box would be 19.5. You would have to...

I know you eliminated your other choices. And this isn't much help either. But I have 2 fi btl neo 15s, but I've been dragging my build for a while so I can't give you an opinion on them. I did however have the old fi bl 15s and loved them. But my box was less then optimal

    Walls for dummies?

You have to remove rear seat and all. Level where the box will sit. Get measurements, but set up seat like you would if you were driving from head rest to the back of the seat where you level the panel for the box to sit on. Then get the rest of the measurement and design a box, cut it up and...
