I dont want bass coming from my interiors because I want it all to go to my subs. When I turn the volume up the bass distorts everything else coming out of the speakers and it sounds terrible

By the way I have 2 Rockford 12" Punch He subs, and a 1800 amp rockford 2 channel amp

They are running off the HU right now, and they are brand new Alpine 5x7 SPS-570A speakers. How do I use HPF and stop all bass from going to them?

What is high pass filter? I turn the bass all the way down, and sub-woofer all the way up, but the speakers still give out bass. How do I have speakers give out NO bass at all?

The HU is an Alpine CDA-9811

No I had a car audio store wire everything, and I have the bass for the speakers turned all the way down, and subwoofer output volume all the way up. Even with the bass control for speakers all the way down, there is still bass from them at higher volume. There's no way to get absolutely no base...

The speakers are brand new Alpine SPS-570A. I need a way to just increase the bass without having the speaker volume go up. Not sure how to do that though I played around with bass and subwoofer settings on the HU. Any ideas?

Ok, so do I need any extra things to have both amps running at once? Seems like its a lot of power getting sucked from the battery. Also I'm kind of worried about getting this stuff stolen, any security ideas?

How do I turn the bass down only on the speakers? When i turn the bass down on the HU, it turns it down on the subs also. The HU also has a subwoofer control but I played around with all that and it doesn't seem to help. Could it be becase the speakers aren't being powered by an amp?
