I could use one more art series link, as my lease is about up on my current car and will be using the art series again in a Caddy, meaning enough room to link the three amps.

hmmm, I guess I'd say I like the DEX-P9. and will like it even more as soon as I get the DEQ-P9 to go with it. Even as a stand alone it rocks all over most units, the best purchase I've made in car audio in the past ten or so years.

Use the optical, at least give it a try, I prefer the sound I get out of optical on my system. Your system can only sound as good as your weakest link, which is usually cheap, low quality cables. In the end it's all about your preference in sound so since you got the cable you make the call.
