i did the same thing, had a crew cab 350 and put 2 12l7's behine the rear seat, i had to move the seat forward bout 3 inches. they sounded pretty good. i was blowing those speakers with a orion xtr 2400, i was only running 600 watts to each speaker.

Right now the subs face towards the roof, had them face at me couldnt really tell a difference. Is there any rule for that?????

the post when i was wonder what to get was only for the speakers. i had the two amps and HU, hahaha. The speakers were the only question. i am running just the sub pre out off the HU right into the amp input. does the sub pre out already filter out the high frequencies??

i wound up going with two jl 12w6's, in a sealed box. my problem is now that my subs have words coming out of them. i have a alpine cda 7941 HU , it has sub pre outs , the rcas go from the preout right tothe amp, dont know what the fock is going on

if you are new to this maybe you should let a installer do the tuning .. usually you tune it to the type of music you play..
