im not really sure if it really makes a difference, but i used high temp hot glue over low temp. i made somewhat of a mess on my base mdf where the dowels sit and had a hard time even scraping it off.

hey thanks for the compliments. yea... i wanted to glass from the inside.. but the baffles are only so large... 10s are going into these... and i think it wouldve been difficult to do the middle curved area. im sanding it right now... its gonna take me some time to get the little bumps out...

updated with just more pics. thanks to all who threw some advice out to me. there's definately a learning curve with glassing.. and i feel pretty comfortable working with it now.. im done with the glassing part.. now im just throwing body filler on it. here are the pics though...
