I have a 6k genset, I do not bother with shore as we are boondocking most of its use. 4 batteries at 232 amp/ hr @ 20hr. I have a small solar battery tender, say 100watt. That will be upgraded this winter to 1k.  Alternator only manages the start battery. 

Alright guys,  I have an interesting build going. This is for a 56’ houseboat on Lake Shasta. Looking to upgrade entire system, something that offers clean audio inside the cabin and loud off the back deck for when we’re all floating.  Preferably a head unit that has full screen for the helm...
