Well I have been working with the entire line of Powerbass' gear since their coming to America. I think or a budget conscious speaker that's efficient you should look into our S-Series or L-Series component sets. They work well with low power and can be had for a good price from a local dealer...

It would be best if you can post a pic... If they are either the Powerbass Black series or the Powerbass Xtreme XS series Subwoofer they are vastly different... Otherwise I'm leaning towards our XS series if you say it is heavy duty looking... Those subs are real beasts in the right enclosure...
