Kicker 1500.1 would be 750wrms@4ohms/325 per speak Why do you want a 1 ohm stable amp? THD is higher at those loads and it would be better to run it at 4 ohms.

Since your only running one thing from it it would only make sense to run a mono. Unless you plan to run other subs/comps from it.

Ohms are kind of hard to explain. Once you think you have it they throw in dual voice coils, so no you don't need a 4 ohm load you need a 2 ohm load. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=1&I=42 Both of the ones I suggested would work fine and there are many others...

According to Alpine that is a dual 4 ohm sub. SWR-1242D 12" Subwoofer (4Ω + 4Ω) Wired parallel would give him a 2 ohm load.

And if you want me to be serious, I like the zx500.1. The MRP-M450 would be a nice match as well and a bit cheaper option.
