Sorry, like I said before, this is all new to me. So I guess wiring the DVC together is the same as having two subs in parallel ... okay, I got it.

So, what you are saying is, if I was to wire up both voice coils that would give me 2 ohms??? Is there a trick in doing this or am I misunderstanding something?

I intend on installing some Infinity Kappa components, but need to find a shallow sub to fit below the rear seat of my Dodge Quadcab. I was looking at the Pioneer Premier 10" and 8", but they are 4 ohms instead of 2 ohms, which I'd prefer. I was looking to use the Crunch PZI550.5, 5 channel...

Both the Kappa 60.7cs and the Reference 6020cs are 2 ohm speakers. I have heard the Kappa's referred to as "harsh," in regards to their tweeter sound, but how are the Reference series? I'm also wondering if two sets of the Kappas in my quadcab might be too much. The rear speakers are 5.25"...

Can someone tell me if there is a significant difference between these two speakers? I listened to the Kappa system and liked them, but the Reference are quite a bit cheaper. I am considering two pairs of the winner in the cab of my 99 Dodge Quadcab pickup. I am running a Sony CDX-F5500 head...
