Nope...monoblock amp. All I have is a frequency knob.

Its set to 60Hz because the higher frequencies are what is making the amp go into safe mode. And even there, its still cutting off sometimes.

The problem isn't my alternator (to the best of my knowledge). I belive its my cheap battery up front. Its a Bi-Mart special for $25....300cca on it. My car is supposed to REQUIRE 400-500 or something like that. So I think I just need a few more of those cheap batteries.

I don't understand why my amp will fry eventually when its rated at 2ohms. Its my charging system that is having the issues here, not the amp. The amp is just seeing the problem and kicking itself into safe mode (cheap battery). Yes, the box blew apart. That's what I get for buying a $19...

Not everybody is made of money. And I already HAD two of these subs, but one seems to have blown when the box blew apart.
