I want to put 4 12's in my el camino, I currently I have a bx1500x1 and am not sure which subs I should get. I'm worried about impedance levels because I want to get the full 1500 watts at 1ohm without damaging the amp or subs. Thanks!

Yeah the same thing happened to me with my bx1500d it kept cutting off and finally it just cut off for good.

I have that exact same setup, I got it from the car audio depot. I think the amp isn't all what they say it is but it handles the diamonds pretty well. how did wiring them with the 8 ohm impedance go, more or less power?
