butt connectors ****, but t-taps are even worse. when I can't use solder and shring tubing I use posi-locks. They sell them at walmart, for like $5 for a back of 10 or so. A bit pricy, but i've never had one come loose. The sell tap connectors, and butt-connector like connectors...

I've got the 690vx, similar not quite as wonderful as 791....but the remote and range is the same. it lacks the remote start, and doesnt come with some of the extra modules. I installed mine myself. Was really easy I thought, compared to trying to install those ebay alarms, which dont come with...
