SQ isn't the best. Depending on what audio components you have in your setup, you will notice more or less of the SQ. I look past SQ vs the amount of artists that I have found on Satellite radio vs FM

been using SiriusXM / XM / Sirius, whatever you want to call it for over 10 years. Never regretted it once. One thing i will say, I feel you must like different types of music to benefit from it.

depends: on weather the cd has the id tag info on the disc. if it is a mp3 disc and if the id3 tags has the info, it would. if not then no. if the cd was bought @ the store, it may or may not. depending on if they put it on the cd. and have you tried changing the display?

no way to put it, but the SQ sux. It is compressed audio, no way of getting around it especially in a car. sat radio is better than fm for the quantity/ amount of different types of music you can hear. i have been running sat radio for 5 yrs and i dont regret, i dont even have my fm antenna...

i wouldnt even go that route (computer fan). if the shop/person where you took it to is legit. they would replace everything that is screwed up. after having so many probs, i would not mess with it myself

it might not be fried. if the fan isn't working the the HU is doing right by cutting itself off when it gets too hot. i found that alpi's get hot quickly. i wouldn't run that HU until the shop fixed the fan and the cable problem. take that back TODAY.

if it doesnt fit, then you must acquit. i would take that thing back man and get them to put the kca-420i on. and i would test it out there and if your HU is screwed up then, i would have to replace my sh*t. but def that that back to the shop

that 9853 will give you the ability to run an active setup in the future, if you decide. but then the 9853 does have the glide touch. which is a drawback to some people. i say play around with it and see what you like. if you do like the glide touch, then it is a gain on your end.

check your amp. that would be the first place that i would start.
