NO, Kenwood has a wire for THERE aftermarket steering wheel controler coming off the HU. My truck has factory steering controls. I found the wire off the factory wiring harness. So what I was thinking was connecting the 2 to see if my factory controls would work on the HU.

I'm finishing off installing my Kenwood DDX8017 in my 02 Blazer. I was thinking if I hooked up the remote wire from the HU to the remote wire on my stock wiring harness would the steering controls work on my radio? Or is the only way to get the steering controls to work is by installing a PAC...

So you don't think I should run all to the HU wire. Could you throw out a few ideas as to what "hot" power wire? Could I run all 3 wires to the ACC?

Where should I look for a Distribution Block from?? The JL needs 4awg and the Perciision has 10 awg and It's like a adapter or plug the has the power and ground together as on plug:rolleyes:
