I'm looking at putting eights in my truck(2001 F-150 Supercrew) I'm looking for something that will be tight and will work in about .4 cu ft per sub.

What components would you recomend for an F150. Power isn't an issue as I will be buying the amp based on what speakers I get. I want a "smooth" sounding setup with silk tweeters. Right now I'm looking at CDT and A/D/S. Looking at spending around 400. Thanks

Man do I hate car stereo shops. I went to one today and told him my situation. He wouldn't recomend anything besides JL. Come on guys I need un-biased info. I shouldn't say I'm set on the JLs and the memphis. My only requirements are a 5-channel and 8's. Unless you guys can convince me otherwise.
