ok so I need to bridge this thing so that it runs at an 8 ohm load...how do I do that? I have the amp bridged according to the directions but what do I need to do to the sub? I am only running one sub because 1. I got the sub and the amp both brand new for under $300 and don't have the money...

Here is my issue...I have a new, never used Punch P8002 amp and I want to hook up a single JL 12 W6 V2 sub to the amp. I want to bridge the amp so I can get maximum thump out of the sub but I have had several shops tell me that I will screw up the amp because the dual voice coil sub is designed...
