The Hifonics BX1500D...it's got 2 channels...you can use it like that or you can just wire the subs together for a 1ohm load and use just one channel. Either way you'll still get 1500 watts, well, more like 12 or 1300 probably.
Don't get the Hifonics 1000...get the 1500...that's what I've got. I had the 1000 and it just wasn't enough, and the SE 12's and 15's both have a 600 rms so ya know.
I'm not sure...mabye me...small place. I've got 2 15" SE's with 8 cubes ported at 33 hz in a 95 monte carlo. I keep hearing about this other guy with 2 CVR 15's...he's suppose to be pretty loud but I havn't heard it yet. I wish I had my own mic so I could see what I'm hitting.
Switch to SE's, I've got to 15 SE's and you wouldn't believe how nice they are. This weekend I had 3 different people at different times flag me down and try to buy them from me. I love it.

I went to this place above to calculate a pvc port for an 8 and the port length it's giving me is ridiculous. I want a .5 Cuft box tuned to 32 hz using 3.5 diameter pvc...it's saying the port has to be like 48 inches long...I don't know much about...
I have no idea, the only info I have is what I get off the net and I can't find the displacement. This is all I can find... http://www.mtxaudio.com/caraudio/archive/2003thunder6000sub.cfm
I'm trying to port 2 mtx 6000 10" subs. This is what I've got right now...
Box
Hight-16"
Width-24"
Depth-16"
Round Port
Diameter-4"
Length-12.5"
I'm trying to tune the box to 33hz...does that sound right?
I'm planning on building my first box and porting 2 Mtx 10's. I don't know what size the box should be...I've tried looking on the manufacturers site but didn't find any info. So what do I need to do?
