Sometimes all his speakers work with subwoofers and then sometimes every speaker and sub will go out except bose subwoofer in back. I'm thinking maybe the wires from the loc to head unit came undone and are getting crossed over with other wires maybe?

Make sure you get good wood glue because that is what bonds your box together, some good caulk like you mentioned, i used #6 drywall screws 1 5/8" and they work perfect and make sure you predrill the holes-if you have any money left over you can always go out to lowes and buy some carpet and...

From what I understand-the bigger the box-the more the sub will move and that in turn causes a very small increase in decibel level-not very noticeable though. But it all depends on the install like everyone else says.

It's actually 1 slotted port in the middle of a box with a 15" Atlas on each side of the port. The mouth is 17" high by 7" wide, but the top of the box slopes down with the depth and that's why I have two different heigths in the port. -Help anyone?
