all your doing is teaching your dog to be afraid of you yes eventually it works know y eventually puppies become dogs whom can hold their blatters longer and are not teething anymore so dont need to chew on everything in sight

hey man im at the same place as you me and my gf just adopted 2 puppies its soooo worth the money to get a crate and crate train them you will save money in the long run idk what kind of dog it is but they have med size crates at walmart for 40 bucks

only thing that works is time.....
