    Use #6 coarse thread drywall screws over woodscrews, they will grab better. Also a #6 countersink bit for them. I'm up the road not too far away from Gilbert, I'd like to hear it eventually.

    Predrilling/countersinking the holes helps when assembling if clamping is not easy in my exp. This was my father/son project this last weekend. Once cut & predrilled it flew together fast.

    I'd predrill the baffle only then pull it down with #6 1 5/8" coarse drywall screws along the portwalls then do the box walls. Maybe add a small bead of caulk next to the woodglue before setting the baffle on. 1/8 gap is workable imo. 3/4" Mdf should bend a little bit. I'd just pull it tight and...

    Do you have pics of the system as it sits in there currently? I'm assuming this is the enclosure... Plus @ 1ohm id wager that Skv3500 is clamping 2k at best... Less if your electrical is subpar.
