All I have guys is 1/2 inch MDF, so im going to glaze two layers and feather joint the corners. Why should I go buy more wood when I have lots of 1/2 inch lying around?? And I'd say 1/2 inch isnt enough. So weather stripping for sealing the sub to box eh?

Question, I am building a custom box for my kappa perfect out of 1 inch MDF. I am going to seal the seams with silicon caulk, but what do I seal the seam around the sub with where it drills to the box????

2 questions... #1 Im going to build a box for my 10.1 perfect.. infinity recommends .6 ft^3 which "includes driver displacement". Does this mean build the box to exactly .6 ft^3 (which is a really small box), or make it larger so its volume is .6ft^3 after displacement of the woofer. Any...

Will a 10 inch Alpine Type R rated at 100-300 watts RMS be able to handle 360 watts RMS, if so, is a larger box good for an overpowered sub? (I plan on building a sealed box if that helps)
