i know i know, gains =(
if you set the gain at 2 volts on the amp which is very high it is requiring less voltage to get full signal from the head unit, if you turn the gain down like to 4 volts it takes more voltage from the head unit to get a signal, if an amp has min and max, it still works the same way except you...- nos306
