ya that's only thing that ***** about buying from the states. shipping blows. they need to lower shipping costs some how. I cant tell you how many times, prob hundreds, I would have bought something but it either wouldn't come to Canada or the shipping ******. I bought my sub on sale for $115...

actually the amp that has the same logo, style and everything I saw is a Rockford 1501.bd . only difference is it is bigger than the one I want to look at. I cant make out the number on the logo in the pic. im waiting for owner to get back to me

Ya those guys want way too much for those amps. Say im getting steal but i dont want to spend that much. I got a line on a good priced rockford old school mono amp too but dont know much about it yet. Its 400rms rf power series. Kind with the major cooling fins and grey.

its a jl 500/1 slash amp new. too expensive I think. the sub is in a sealed enclosure. I can get a mrpm850 alpine amp right now off a guy for $100. I want to do it but I don't want to blow the sub. can I run this??? amp would be 800rms and sub is rated for 600rms.???

I just came across an alpine mrp m850 that I can snag for $100. Do you think this would be better than the m500? Only thing is my brand new sub( type r 1243d) is rated at 600w rms and the mrp 850 will be putting out 800w rms. I know theres ways around that. just wanted your opinion

i think the guy at alpine was on crack. im going to split the amps like I was originally but with a bigger inline fuse. but do I really need to have a fused d block? and if I run 8g to both amps from dblock are the ground wires going to be 8g as well?

I just contacted support at Alpine. the guy told me I need to run 4g to the sub amp. that's different than everyone else has said too. but I asked him if I could just use the two amp kits seperatly for the two amps and hook it up that way and he said yes that would work. I know its more work but...
