That Class D Sony supposedly makes 1000 watts RMS@1ohm. I almost got it instead of my bd500.1. In that case, you should run two dual 4 ohm subs with everything in parallel, and they'll receive 500 watts RMS. The thing is, I don't know if the Sony amp REALLY makes 1000watts. Has anyone tried...

Ok, the next question I have would be, where can I get the best price on the 12w3? I have found the Perfects for like, 157 per sub. How much cheaper can I get the 12w3s? I really appreciate the help guys....

Trick Daddy goes hard.... There's a track, number 06 I believe, on the newere one. It has talking at the beginning, but then it goes into one of the most impressive bass runs ever. I highly recommend

But how do they compare the the Perfects or the Infinity's? Has anyone heard these subs in an application such as mine, with a relatively small 2.0ft^3 per sub? I have polyfil in both sides, and it sounds good with my old Kicker Comp VRs. I just want something more/new.... Any ideas?

Okay, another idea: How about the Alpine Type R 12's, or type S's, or whatever. The new Alpine stuff is good, right? I can spend probably 300 bucks for the pair of subs, and I want to make the most out of my amp. If you guys were going to be buying them for my application, what would you choose?

I can get those two woofers for about the same price. What about the Pioneer IMPPs? Are those on the same field as those two?

The thing is, is the sound quality of the 12w3s as good as the Infinitys?
