what program did you use to make and calculate those numbers?

Viper Audio D1200.1 - Reburbished 1200 RMS x 1 @ 1 ohm or Hifonics TX1005D - New 1000 RMS x 1 @ 1 ohm I will use it to power a RF Power 12" 1000 RMS x 1 @ 1ohm

wont 1200 rms be too much for the sub? I don't want to blow it... you think it'll be OK?

I have a RF Power 1000 RMS 2000 Peak sub. It's dual 2 ohm so it means I can be wired with either with a 1ohm or 4ohm load. So I need some suggestions on a amp that puts out 1000 RMS x 1 @ either 1 or 4 ohms. Budget is 250 or less. so far I am looking at a Hifonics BX1000D

My car takes 6x9's in the rear and 6x8's in the front. Can you guys recommend me some pretty good speakers I can get? Not more than $400 and please don't recommend comps because I can't fit them and I don't feel like doing extra work. I just want to stick new speakers into where the old speakers...

What do you guys think?

here is another update Here I finished cutting out a 12in hole for the sub. Next I cut out 4in holes for the ports. Here is a back pic of the ports drying up. I will seal them later with silicon after the glue dries. All that is left is the back panel and cover the box in some nice...

a small update... First side done Second side... both bottom and top boards are done The whole box being screwed together except the back All the cornors are sanded and are caulked using sealant sillicon II. Tomorrow I will drill out a 12" circle for the sub and glue in the final...

I have one more question for you guys... Now, I only have enough wood to build my box, so the box will need to be ported. RF site says I need 2 4inx12.65in ports so I can have a freq of 40. For those that have those programs for tunning sub boxes... can you guys help me find alternative port...
