Hey I just had the same problem with my 960mp..like the last guy said, reground the headunit and make sure you have all good connections. If it is still doing it try switching the headunit out with a friends just to see if it could be that. If the noise stops then its your rca outputs messed up...

Sounds about like the same problem I was having. Im still waiting to hear back from Pioneer on what they can do about it. Hopefully they say its an easy fix and I will have it back in a few weeks.

Well I finally figured out that the ground noise is actually coming from my Pioneer 960MP headunit. I had been looking around on here and noticed that a bunch of people said that theirs did the same thing. What did it cost you all to get it fixed by them? I know it wont be the exact same price...
