The box is everything....but u gotta understand...when u tune a box u generally sacrifice tones...if u tune it high it picks up higher bass notes really well...if u tune it low then the opposite.....u need to tune the box according to the bass u play...and prefab boxes are a curse...don't mess...

Alright...on the sub there are 2 positive terminals and 2 negative terminals...one for each voice coil...run a wire from coil one positive to coil two positive then run a line from coil two positive to the amp....repeat steps for negative...or if that confused u there are diagrams on Car Alarm...

I would go with a 12 Kicker cvr dual 4 ohm....400 watts rms.... 2.25 cu ft ported at 33 hertz....and best of all u can buy 06' models New online for around 80 bucks
