for eclipse it's $ 500 on ebay which is fine to me i can pretty much get a used mcintosh mx406 @ that price range

I'm looking to upgrade my deck. I want something better in the SQ deparment. How is the eclipse 8445 compare with the 9835? I am also consider the mcintosh mx406 but it's lack of features. Although I think I can sacrifise for none mp3, no functions if the SQ is superb. Does anyone know what's...
